Yaya says Pep "does not like African players" - Pep says "he's lying and knows it"

When you look at the players Pep has had issues with it simply shows he's a very good judge of character, not a racist.

No egomaniacs allowed in a Guardiola team.

He actually differentiates between African players and 'naturalised' players with African heritage. This means that to Yaya there are two tiers of discrimination based on race pertaining to Africa. That's a new one on me.

Bit sad that he has to react like this so soon after a rousing send off from everyone at City. I hope the club simply declines to comment.
 
If he wants a club where African players are “respected” perhaps best choice is West Ham?
I really hope he has been misquoted because otherwise he has just badly soiled that farewell we gave him.

This does no favours for yaya I don't get why he feels the need to come your with this, it has now left everyone conncted with the club disliking him. Very sad.
 
Probably been said before on this thread, but it was announced well before that Pep was coming, he just kept on taking the money. I would have taken him a lot more seriously if he had handed in a transfer request and took the consequential drop in salary and made his accusation at the time, he had played for him before.

Because he is a complete and utter arsehole of a human being who is constantly on a 'look at me' ego trip - that is why.
The 'cakegate' scenario tells us everything we need to know about the selfish, self centred tw*t of a man.
Also, to throw in the race card is utterly despicable as it is almost impossible to disprove and could easily stick and tarnish
the professional reputation and standing of Pep. Which is exactly why he did it.
I hope the club make him persona non grata at the club and ensure he is not welcome at any time whatsoever.
A great footballer in his prime but a wank stain of a human being.

I stayed for every second of Zaba"s send off, a true club legend, I was on the tram before Yaya left the pitch. Great player in his day but a flawed human being who has hidden behind his Looney agent many times but I feel this one is all on Yaya.
Tarnished and if ever comes back as a player I think he will see it from the fans.
I don't think he will come back in any other capacity unless the tv bring him back. They may now sadly see him as a perfect pundit.
 
Truth is, he didn't play simply because he's at the end of his career. He doesn't move very while and there would be no chance of him playing ahead of Silva, De Bruyne or Fernandinho.
 
The more I think about this the worse it gets.

The City pages I follow on Facebook are full of African “City fans” agreeing with Toure too, which is extremely sad as there’s no truth to it but they will believe anything the wanker says because he’s a hero to them.

Yaya is another egomaniac in a long list of egomaniacs Pep has pushed aside, and quite rightly.

Using his brother’s death as a weapon, cakegate, all the shite his fat slug agent said and now this.

He’s lashing out as his ability is gone and nobody is going to pander to him.

Using the race card is embarrassing and pathetic and we should take that season ticket off him.
