Only confusing if you think people in the media and on twitter really know what's happening in detailed negotiations. I don't, so happy to wait for it to be done when it's done or not.

Agree mate.....report seems to suggest Napoli's president wouldnt have agreed the meeting yesterday unless numbers were close enough to do so....Blackburn saying the complete opposite?
 
Think this is just a game of who blinks first....

Jorginho has reportedly already cleared out his locker and he has not been contacted by Ancelotti, as the new manager doesnt see him as part of his plans....for Napoli this is about getting as much as possible to sign players that fit Ancelotti's system...

Surely the crucial thing from our perspective (if we really want/need this guy) is not 5-10 million Euro for Napoli but rather the terms of the players contract which if favourable will out weight paying a little bit more. On the other hand I agree with those on here saying that now is not the time to panic. However, a word of caution to those who seem to think that we are so far ahead of the chasing pack that all we have to do is turn up next season. It is important to keep building from a position of strength.

Important to keep building from a position of strength?....completely agree mate! Rumours are he's already agreed a 4yr contract worth 70k a week (plus bonus) which seems a fair salary for the club.

But what an easy job to improve our squad replacing last season's (formerly great) Mr. Touré.
We don't even need Txiki to get that job done.

We will get what we need.

Your guess is as good as mine mate....Gazzetta dello Sport seems to be one of the better, more well known media outlets over there and Napoli 24 is a local source that reports on all things Napoli.....guess we'll soon find out whether the Italian press or British press are right!;)

I think we probably need him to move on anyway mate for foreign slots? Delph and mendy are way ahead of him for the LB area and he would have no chance in midfield
 
I can just imagine Txiki having talks with Napoli and then getting on the phone to The Sun etc to keep them informed of what's going on
