He's a **** but he has played a blinder at the G7 - Bangs on about Russia not being there as he sets off - quick natter with Macron and Trudeau - suggests the G7 could be a tariff free zone then bogs off first to meet Kim Jong -un. So effectively he has made all the headlines about him - hasn't had any real embarrassing confrontations over the trade barriers he imposed then shot off leaving them all reeling - oh and not mentioning May as one of the folks he had productive talks with ( another pointer to Dr Fox as to how his bezzie mate ain't that interested ) - all in all it went to Donnie's plan.

The tariff free zone was just Trump trying to deflect any aggro - Trump hates personal one on one confrontation unless he’s able to bully them. The oddest remark was by one of his trade advisors to the effect that they have scant interest in the service sector and ‘don’t see it as the future’. Currently the US economy is 70% services. Seems they think the economy is coal, steel and cars etc. Reason there will be a hit to the world economy is that Team Trump think it’s the 1930’s.

Ironically if there was a time to break with your closest economic and trading partners and seek to put up trade barriers right now isn’t it. Like comedy the golden rule of Brexit is timing and boy did we screw that one up.
 
Trump won't ever win over the American public, but you can't deny he has a big positive impact so far. Should 100% get a Nobel Peace, Obama got one for strengthening international diplomacy, Trump has all but sealed a peace deal in Korea and is on the verge of being the first president to meet theirs. Shame we don't have a leader with the same sort of willingness to make a difference.

I’d suggest any sitting US president could have met NK’s leader. They have previously chosen not to as meeting them gives NK legitimacy in the region

Funnily by little brother who has ran for office as a Democrat was going on about how great Dumb Donald is handling the NK situation. He's been completely snowed by a racist, pussy-grabbing game show host. I seriously don't get how anybody w/ a brain can accept anything he does. It's like talking about the virtues of Hitler while ignoring the holocaust.

There is no middle ground w/ white supremacists. They're racist pieces of shit so it doesn't matter what their other positions are.
