People the world over seem to have had enough of the status quo and decided to vote for change, now whether that makes anything better is down to your own viewpoint, but if all people could see was more of the same they maybe thought the grass was greener. Unfortunately in the case of Trump there was no one else so he got in and I’m hoping that he doesn’t get me a second term and some sort of normality can come back, but I lay the blame for his election at the feet of the previous politicians who people saw as only looking after themselves.I think what politicians worldwide have t wake up and realise is this sentiment is growing globally and normal people are at breaking point when it comes to the establishment and the way career politicians seemingly dont give a fuck about anyone but themselves.
Its too Trump to power, its played its part in Brexit, look at Italy and various other EU countries where so called populist parties are gaining ground and you will see evidence of the sentiment behind the tweet.
Not endorsing it btw, just trying to explain what is actually happening and what those traditionally in power have to do to get the masses back on board.
To a degree Brexit was the same Calais and the camps was huge at that time created by the politicians of that time people saw that and had enough, let’s give something else a go, could it be worse? Or could it be better, we will find out eventually.
Politicians need to stop treating the masses as fucking idiots and feathering their own nests until then people are only going to push back more and more.
