you think it could not get any worse for the ECB and england then you lose to scotland??? not only did england lose but scotland made us look like lower county level and could not bowl out scotland ?? and then they made 375 ?? and they scotland bowled england out ?? big big questions needs to be asked and the whole lot should be made to rip up there contracts and never play again for england
Erm, it's one game. Scotland played well, had nothing to lose and their plan paid off. Kudos to them for that. In the grand scheme of things, though, nothing changes. England still one of the best one day teams. They'll have learned a lot about themselves and that can be applied in the more important games.

Yeah, it was a poor result but the one day side have been doing well in recent years so it would be daft to overreact to one defeat, as embarrassing as it was. Bayliss's future as Test manager must be in doubt though.

I thought it was a good game to watch and England should have managed the run chase but for two ridiculous run outs, despite playing under par. In any case, a walkover by the better ranked team does the game no good at all. Just pointless all round.

One day shocks happen! Sometimes you've just got to say well played. If it happens 3 or 4 times on the bounce then you have problems, but it wont. Our one day set up is the best in the world atm. We just need to get a coach/manager who knows about test matches and we'll be fine

your missing the point it was the giant of cricket losing to scotland forget its just one game ?? but for cricket it was a a miss match. england have everything and millions and millions pumped into international cricket the best training best fitness coaches fine food and well paid players and coaching staff and players and coaches don't have to pay for the kit to be washed and cleaned

scotland kit yesterday was falling apart that's how far the gap is between england and scotland but then for england to lose and get bowled out shocking then england could not bowl scotland out and take 10 wickets and they scored 375. so its not the losing to scotland but england not having a answer or the skill to beat them

England did have the answer. Two stupid run outs was the difference. You're making more out of it than is needed in my opinion. It was a friendly.

if it was just a friendly why play your best team ??? the chance was there to play some untested younger players and change it up but england went in with the big boys and lost. there is never a friendly game vs scotland in sport and they will never let you forget they have beat you. well played to them and england should hang there heads in shame
