I never knew they even have French champ on the menu there.Wow.
I never knew they sold it.
All I ever see in those pubs are winos or Monday club regulars.

To be fair, most of their regular clientele aren't usually the Champaign drinking type.

On the news yesterday - they only sell Moet and Chandon ........... therefore stock / sell less that 100k bottles pa. which across their estate is small fry. The stopping of Prossecco is potentially a bigger decision - but yesterday tea time after it had run all day Tim Martin their boss modified what he was saying to " a review on stocks " - if you ask me this was just a puff piece to advertise Wetherspoons and Tim Martins own political views tbh - French champagne makers said they weren't at all bothered by the potential loss of 100k sales out of the 27m they send based on 2017 shipments to the UK.
