Saw that yesterday but also pep will assess him in pre-season first

Good thing about pre season this year is that he will get a chance to look at a lot of the kids, as the senior players get an extended break after the World Cup.

I like that, seeing kids playing pre season is exciting. Foden announced himself as a hot prospect pre season, and he's not looked back

Unheard of before season just gone and seems like a late developer. Wouldn't it make more sense to sign Will Hughes and develop him for the role, he at least can run. Jorgi could be one of those who thrives in a very specific team setup like all those Dortmund midfielders who flopped after getting their big move.

Looks like a deal will be agreed next week then.
Once De Laurentis moves to bonuses, transfers normally happen. Probably 2.5m on appearences and 2.5m on trophies.

There is line between being tough negotiator and stupid.
At this point ADL is being stupid and childish with crying over bonuses

If the rumoured 47-48mil euro fee is correct, its still well below the original asking price and less than Fabinho and Fred, so its going to be important to Napoli that the bonuses are easy met....If those figures are correct its us that are trying to get a "cheap" deal and not Napoli being childish...in my opinion!

Agreed

Could try both together.
I'm sure due to rest and injury they'll get on the field together at some point and beyond that who knows.

I do hope that Pep either plays different formations more often so when we do it later in the year (Liverpool match) we'll be used to it, OR he sticks with what has got us there when we get to those games.

The deal will be done but dealing with Italian teams is so frustrating they want the world for there players yet won't pay a penny for ours or want a 5 year loan deal, they are leeches

Pretty much what it looks like to me too. I doubt that this can be considered expensive, unless of course he's an absolute flop. And I'd be gobsmacked if Pep's judgement is that far out. Since last summer, £40-50 million is the new £20-30 million for anyone at all good.
Our great bargaining chip, of course, is that our man wants us very firmly.
