That's totally irrelevant though because we clearly wanted both and both would probably have performed for us.We really missed out with Alves and Sanchez....

Is there any point in fighting over €2.5m when we are getting him cheap anyway?
What colour were they?I just drove past the training ground and there was a security guard putting out cones. Imminent.
Bit racist isn't it?What colour were they?
Sarri's system works with 3 at the back, as does Guardiola's. He'll just stick Azpilicueta in the Dinho role. The Stockholm syndrome in relation to Alves and Alexis, never seems to be countered by the Walker Mendy Bernardo deals which were much harder to complete.
Chelsea have no need for Jorginho and will have a hard time unloading Drinkwater Barkley Bakayoko Cesc and trying not to sell RLC. If and when Conte is replaced with Sarri, I’m sure they are going to have to work on finding a new back line and new forwards since that 3-4-3 3-4-2-1 is useless to SarriBall.
It’s not even real drama at this stage, we’re at the end like the Ederson deal where we find out a 3rd team(Verona) is involved and is getting 5 % of sale which reports say is the €2.5M.
I only bother nicking the blue cones mate. If that's racist then I'm racist.Bit racist isn't it?
They wouldn't have performed. Despite some of the criticsms danilo got early on, one of the first things I noted was his physicality and decent pace. Alvez has neither. Would have been like playing with zabba at the back now, decent and tidy but legs gone. Sanchez really not worth an explanation. That's totally irrelevant though because we clearly wanted both and both would probably have performed for us.

No white ? we aren't Coventry, Barca boys out.Completely blue.
When was the last time he used 3 at the back?Sarri's system works with 3 at the back, as does Guardiola's. He'll just stick Azpilicueta in the Dinho role.

Every time Napoli built from the back, just as City do when Dinho drops between the centre halves to aid the build up. Formations are numbers on a piece of paper. City and Napoli move between 6 or 7 depending on where the ball is, that's the whole point of positional play. City's average formation is a 4-3-3 on paper but a 2-3-2-3 or 2-1-4-3 in reality. When was the last time he used 3 at the back?

Allan/Jorginho would be Azpilicueta/Fabregas. Guardiola is a lot more confident with his system, as shown when Sarri buckled in the first meeting and went with Diawara and Allan in a double pivot. Mind you, Guardiola didn't trust Fabregas in midfield.Given he played Jorginho, Fabregas would be the likely choice
Because €2.5m is still a decent amount of money. So reports trying to say we holding up this deal over 2.5mil(euros) in future add-ons? Why even risk another team showing interest(Chelsea?) and causing a bidding war, which Napoli would actually love......hopefully these reports are way off because that would be acting like the Italians!;)

Future planning, if we keep paying the asking price it'll keep going higher and higher. We already getting him below the market value for DM this summer if the reported 45-48mil offer was correct, so could understand Napoli feeling cheated.
For FFP, doesnt the cost get spread over the length of the players contract? So in this case, Jorginho is reportedly getting a 5yr deal so we potentially talking 400k extra on the books this year. If a team like Chelsea jumped in (as an example) even if he has picked us, it could still cause us to lift our offer or have to walk away, which could cost us alot more than 400k? Remember this would also be in add-ons, not fixed fee so we could be talking 1mil of this amount for winning the CL, which "might" never happen....
Hopefully whatever is going on, both teams can find a balance soon and we can close thread!;)
Haha what no the fuck they don’t, all reports indicate we’re still haggling over a minute quantity of money as per usual and it’s been that way for weeks. We’ll probably get this one over the line eventually but it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve fucked up a deal by stalling too long. After the Alves and Sanchez deals fell through it’s never safe to assume that we’ll get anything done.
