I’m sorry but when did delph become this all conquering midfielder? He did decent as a left back last season but he’s nowhere near the quality we need.

I think we should forget the Jorginho debacle (yes, it is a farce, but we move on to bigger and better signings) and sign a back-up / rotational member. I would be happy to go with Lemina or re-juvenated Kovacic tbh..

I think he is made of strong stuff,after a holiday with his family he'll be over itIt was still a disappointing campaign that will test his mental strength. Them going out already in the quarterfinals and him having an awful game as well as scoring an own goal. He’ll also be mentally tired after such a long season.

Definitely keep Zinchenko, he's quality. Can play anywhere, great attitude, low wages, loved by the fans. Would be silly to sell him, unless it's for very good money (upwards of 20mil).
Mate, he was shaky as hell as a defender which wasn't surprising. For his preferred AM position, the array of talent we already have there, he imo wouldn't see much playing time. If there is a buyer, it would be in his best interest to move on I would think.

1st game will be intresting. The season starts 1 week early & we will have up to 7 players missing the whole of the pre season & without doubt Arsenal.
If we sell Zinchenko then we have no fullbacks or wing backs available with Danilo out injured.
Our pre season is against good quality teams yet the spine of our side isn't here.
Aguero, Jesus, Dino, Ederson, Gundagun, Nico, Silva, Silva arent due back for another 2 weeks?
Arsenal squad could be something like the below.
.Ederson.
. Dino . . Nico. Laporte. Zinchenko.
Mahrez. .Gundagun. Sane.
.Silva. Silva.
.Aguero.
Bravo, Tosin, Foden, Diaz, Jesus, Gomez, ?

On the other hand, if Jorginho was the missing piece in our puzzle for the next 5 years,
why wasn't Txiki ready to pay those further 8m? 8m over 5 years!
Maybe he doesn't panic the way others do and Pep is confident to develop alternatives.

But if we don't sign anyone else it is our interest to keep him as the 17th squad member. Talking about him playing DM is silly. We would play him as an 8 or a winger freeing up Gund to play DM.
Totally agree. We walked the league but it would be the definition of complacency to sit on our laurels. Look at how Arsenal & Liverpool have strengthened. We should put our foot on their throat while we can, in my opinion.
Mahrez, I think, will prove to be a fantastic signing, but we need a DM.
Gundo is good, but he's not a defensive mid & Ferna's not getting any younger!
Liverpool and Arsenal haven't strengthed anymore than us.
Mahrez in, Sane, Sterling, Foden, Diaz, Laporte all with big potential to get better and Mendy like a new signing.
The DM position will be filled if the right player becomes available.

He’s in the physical condition of somebody 5 years younger than him. Doesn’t carry an ounce of fat and never gets injured or show signs of fatigue
We can 100% totally rely on him for another 2 seasons minimum
