Nigel Clough was garbage as were Ben Thatcher and Danny Mills. Bill Williams and Bobby Shenton (Allison's follies) were crap. Going back to the mid 60s Roy Gratrix was a shocker.

I did! Preston away in Pre season, went through one on one with the keeper, could feel the excitement as our new star striker goes in on goal. Straight over the bar.

Besides the fact he didnt play suggests he was even worse than the shite who did get a game!

Lots of names on here but in anyones book who can remember that far back and I can, neither Mark Lillis or Steve "The Hair" Kinsey or Aide Mike were the worst players I've ever seen.
David Brightwell, Bad buy, David Sommeil (reminds me of the Mangler) and a host of others however were gash.
