Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

So if they won’t busdge on what sterling wants we will sell next season? Well I think sterling will just not sign and move on a free in 2 seasons if that scenario plays out!

Personally I reckon he knows he is on a good thing at City and sign a new contract.
If he has sense he will sign with what we offer but he may decide enough is enough and seek work abroad if anyone will take him

Just say he doesn’t sign(I think he will).

If he doesn’t sign and we put him in the market with 1 year left on his contract how much would we get for him? Who would want to buy him?

Say it’s 50m and then wages and Id presume he would want what he asking for now 250k on a four year contract that’s 13m a year 52m over four years. Not a chance any club in Europe is paying that! Only way Sterling will get a mega pay day is on a free if that happens it’s a kick in the teeth for the club and pep who has stuck by him since he has been at the club! Like I say though he will sign a new contract so all hypothetical.

She won’t reply, or if she does she will completely ignore what’s been said. She can’t constructively discuss topics she’s overly passionate about. Her head goes

Pot, kettle. Where's your response to the questions I put to you last night?

A bit like your good self, I and others continually asked you to explain why you celebrated " like a goal" this players substitution. You continually ignored or failed to do so. So do not be hypocritical and criticize another poster for doing the same. Especially as that poster was one of those asking you to explain your " celebration" whether it was a lie or not. Pathetic.

Not as bad as his critics suggested during the World Cup, but not very good either.

He is not a good finisher as witnessed in the home Derby match, he is surrounded by superb players at City so his bad (awful) matches are not as noticeable.

I sincerely hope the Club do not budge from their estimation of his worth.

Deserves a new bumper contract and the World Cup is of no concern to us whatsoever. What he does in a blue shirt matters. He's been fantastic recently.
Remember, if he asks for x amount and the club won't pay that, it doesn't mean he's money grabbing. It means he wants a deal that secures him and his family for life during the most important part of his career and he might get that security elsewhere. Neither City or Raheem can be blamed here. I think they will agree somewhere in-between and that sound about right. Deserves to be the top paid Englishman in the team on the back of last season, and deserves parity with any player under 25 in that squad.

He's hardly eating hand to mouth now. He is financially secure for life already (or should be if he invests wisely). Most would agree that it is what he does in blue that counts but he made the deliberate choice to wait until after the WC to decide his future with us - why do you think that might have been?

Lol,i can't for the life of me get why 2 grown men only post in raz threads and nowhere else on the whole site, don't drag me into it

Nowt else worth debating, that is why, close season and all that, unless of course you like talking about Trump,Corbyn,United,Liverppool,or players we have no links to but might improve us,not interested in that, this topic is fresh, current, and more than interesting.

If he does leave,i'll bet you won't be so interested in following the rest of his career

Block 230 Colin Bell, also used to be in 304 East Stand when we first moved there, and before that upper Kippax when seated, and before that Kippax standing,oh and before that Platt Lane................the team I support play in blue lad. No other explanation

Whatever man.

Your personal vendetta against Sterling is fucking embarrassing.
