Don't mind the away kit so much, but this third kit is atrocious and the home kit is just underwhelming as usual with Nike. I'm sure the head honcho's have been seen feedback from the fans during this Nike contract has been that its been a massive failure in teams of quality and it doesn't really seem to have been a huge success in terms of money in comparison with other clubs.

Haha! I am! But the point stands...dark blue, dark purple...are there any occasions where we could wear the purple one if we couldn't wear the dark blue?

No, he just forgot to take his sky blue coloured specs off.

I think he was (rightly) pointing out that having two dark kits is not the best idea, especially when your home kit clashes with white, lighter greys, and any shade of lighter blue, colours used as primary or secondary for a fair few clubs leading to some on the pitch (peripheral vision-related) confusion (a la that idiotically coordinated match against Aston Villa a few years back).

It wouldn’t have been a *better* shirt, but it would have certainly made more sense if it was orange with a purple sash, as you know it will be matching purple shorts and bright orange socks.
