Just started rewatching Game of Thrones from the beginning and in my humble opinion one of the finest TV series ever created.Just finished episode 5 and Ned has been lanced through his Achilles by one of Jamies henchmen.You really do forget for the most part what went on apart from the odd flashback but it's truly superlative on a second run as things fall more into place.
Winter is coming !

Yeah that's alright. What's better imo is Hidden. On the iplayer still. Welsh noir, it's a genre now apparently.

The wife read somewhere that there are going to be 10 (yes ten) series of the Handmaids Tale. I felt the end of season 2 was stretching plausibility a good bit to keep the story running but another 8!!!!. It will go the same way as The Affair - started well but descends into mediocracy the longer it runs.

2 things:

I hope to fuck that isn't true, as yes, season 2 has struggled (IMO), and I wouldn't want it doing a walking dead.

Also, after a frankly odd season 3, the Affair has been absolutely top notch through season 4, but I've read that season 5 will be its last.
