De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Er; no. Dzeko and Toure were far more influential in that run in.

Toure was on a par, but not the other guy by any means, he was in the top 11 though. Unless the number of goals is the only barometer...

Not just the goals. He stepped up to the mark and led the line brilliantly in Sergio's absence in that run in. And you class Toure as only being on a par with Nasri? Hmm.

Pretty similar Everton and United away where Nasri was on fire setting up the goals - but who cares now?

Dunno if it's common knowledge or not.
Kev was in the gym on Friday doing squats with the weights etc.
No strapping,no supports,nothing....seemed in good spirits too,apparently.
Hopefully ahead of schedule.
Cheers, optimistic signs.....What was on the bar?

Well, if he's anything like Aleks....

I wonder what Kev even squats normally....he's not big but footballers do have disproportionately strong legs and core.
I look at Aguero and Shaquiri and similar players with incredible leg development and i think they must squat humongous amounts but I only ever see training vids with very modest weight....I don't get it?

I think a lot of their work is single leg squats, balanced based stuff, plyometrics etc. and the occasional picture we see of them doing a standard squat is accessory, rehab or warm up work.

Also they would probably only train for mass or strength in the preseason. Once they're playing every 3 days it's surely just about conditioning and recovery.
