Sane------------Aguero---------Sterling (sub him off at half time if he goes missing again)
----------Silva-----------Silva
---------------Fernandinho (sub him off at half time if he goes missing again)

Laporte--Kompany---Otamendi---Walker

-----------------Ederson

I don't understand anybody wanting Sterling to play. Nothing against him, he just puts too much pressure on himself against them. Let Mahrez loose on them, he doesn't have the baggage of last season and should be a little more stable.

1) work rate
2) form
3) goals
4) he's one of our best players

There isn't another team on earth that would drop one of their best players for an important league game because he's had a couple of dodgy games against them. He shoudl have been awarded a penalty last season - Aguero has never scored there, should be drop him?

There's a few here that go to RAWK, just wondering.
After Tuesday's game I did see a Burnley forum who were all amazed/confused by that ref's performance, so if anything came out of that game it's the recognition that we do get screwed over and other fans are seeing it too. Even Robbie Savage!

No, I get what you're saying mate and I always enjoy reading other fans forums and see what they think before we play them. However, we are dealing with a special breed of people with these Scousers. Proper deluded oddballs. They see things different than normal people. There is never a need to check RAWK.

I agree, never looked myself. Never gone to Liverpool either!

Apparently we’ve won the league more times than we’ve won at Anfield in the past 15 years. Is that true?

They were shown up last night for what they really are. They play with intensity not technique. Napoli matched them on intensity and outplayed them technically. Another full on game after Chelsea did the same. City tend to struggle for intensity in the middle of the park, especially without De Bruyne but that extra day off should help. They will play essentially the same team so no let up physically for them. We need to make sure we are all over them again as they will make mistakes after the week they have had. If we do that we win the game. They will be pumped up for it but ride the initial storm and stay in the game, come 70 minutes in we will wear them down. Especially with such strong attacking options on the bench. Our midfield 3 will be key. Do we play Stones and Fernandinho to match them initially and then look to introduce Bernardo or even De Bruyne for the final 20 minutes when they will have a bit more time? Over to you Pep!

nail on head

Got a really good feeling about this game. Usually so nervous about our trip to the Red Mersey but on this occasion think we will get our game together and win by two goals with Sane MOTM.

Am I horrible supporter for considering placing a consolation bet on Liverpool winning?

I used to do it all the time when I was younger, without compunction for obvious reasons, but now it just feels... wrong.

Not really. Win-win isn't it, at least if we lose you get some cash. And if we win you'll be so happy you won't care you lost a bit of money.
