Thought we were fucking excellent today.

Played a ‘different’ way, dug in when needed and handled ‘Liverpool away’ with real professionalism. Showed a clear level of learning and the ability to adapt in order to get a result. Well done Pep as he’s sacrificed his philosophy there to make sure we came away with something. Mature management.

We were the better side, on their patch, and they know it. We’ve sussed them out.

Laporte was immense today and easily the best he’s played for us. Came of age.

Should have won but a point will do in the grand scheme of the season.

Top of the league with Anfield out the way and no KDB. I’ll take that.

Spot on and if Sane had come on earlier we might have won it from open okay. For once the midfield had a runner to slide it through to. Loved the way we just passed it coolly around the dippers. We have a bit of a conundrum with the Mendy/Sane situation. We lose so much in attack when Sane isn't playing.

Cracking game. I would have taken a point pre-game, but I’m very disappointed that we didn’t win. It was a terrible miss. At least get the fucking thing on target.

Well I've calmed down now, a point is a good result in the cold light of day but it's frustrating that we didn't take all 3.

I still believe Mahrez will come good and i suppose at least he had the balls to take it.

Aguero, Jesus now Mahrez......appalling recent penalty records.

You can smash the pens in training, its never the same as being under the lights under pressure. My theory is that it doesn't help our players that we rarely get opportunities to practice taking them in games given the bent officiating in our games.

It took four appeals today before Atkinson had to give one out of embarrassment the bent cvnt.

Like everybody else, I’m gutted about the penalty. I’m going to put my tin hat on and say the ref had a decent game overall. Delighted to see the pragmatic tactics from Pep. 1 point more than I expected. Onwards and upwards.

Happy with the result, the middle 5 of Fernandinho, Bernardo, Silva, Stones and Laporte. Out wide and up front imo was hot and cold. Great distance covered and energy but not great decision making at times.

Best player imo was Bernardo ( if only we had 2 or 3 clones), worst was Mendy for his blind clearances straight to Liverpool players but still he had his good moments too.

Not just because of the penalty I’d have replaced Mahrez with Foden in the hope of a bit of something different.

FFS - I am gutted - what a friggin; penalty - Had the chance to get 3 points - blew it.
Both teams will be happy for 1 point - but I am gutted.
What use is Jesus? - 4 or 5 times he is flagged for offside - in most games as well.
I would not have been happy if Jesus was to take the penalty - only scored 1 in 3.
I do wonder if he takes them - in practice - for Brazil - against Allison ?.
Laporte was immense.
