Still a while off yet, but thought I might as well start it now anyway.

Hopefully De Bruyne will be involved in some capacity, and I imagine most of those not on international duty will start (Silva, Aguero, Mendy, Laporte, Fernandinho etc).

----------------Ederson-----------------

--------Dave------------Bernado--------
--Sterling-------------------------Sane
------------------Aguero-----------------

De Bruyne to come off the bench after around 60/70 minutes. 4-0 City.

Bloody hell that is some team - we will batter them - will be great to see Joe Hart back. Cant wait - bloody hate international breaks.

Probably this. Even though Stones had an absolute shocker against Ashley Barnes when we last played them at home, I’d still probably play Stones and Laporte after their performances against Victim FC. I think we’re a better team with Delph in it but if he’s not fit then Mendy’s not a bad choice either. Kompany to come in if Stones isn’t up to it.

This is one of those games that on first glance looks to be a battering - possession, shots on goal, shots on target, goals. But I expect that it will be one of those frustrating games we see so often these days at The Etihad - the away team starts with a clean sheet and one point - and come Hell, high water, Aguero, Sané, Sterling, and the Whistling Wanker they are gonna try and hang on to both those till the final whistle. Or it could be an early goal - a second minute dodgy pen where Jonny Moss, or similar, spots an imaginary handball a yard outside the area and points to the spot - followed by an absolute avalanche of goals that has BGVS reeling round his technical area by HT! Either way round, Eddie is gonna play a blinder! Does any PL goalie take a goal kick with such panache, any stopper play a pass to a team mate with such disdain for the opposition. If I took Eddie down to Boggart Hole Clough boating lake I'm sure he could walk on the fuckin' water!

Perfect moment to introduce KDB. Can't see less than a 5 goal victory.
Burnley not the team of last season.
Only slight concern is if Hart has a blinder.
He's a great shot stopper on his day

Yeah I did consider putting Vinny in as Stones does seem to get bullied a bit by the more 'sunday league' style strikers but I think after his performance at the weekend he deserves another start and to build on his partnership with Laporte

Its like I wrote this post myself.
Then I realised you put 4-0 and not 4-1 for our usual defensive lapse off a set piece.

You sound ultra confident.. maybe even a touch arrogant ..
Lets have a closer look at this Burnley team who you say "are not the team of last season"

Only 3 teams outside of the top 4 are unbeaten in their last 3 games...Burnley are one of them along with Wolves and Spuds; Burnley have won their last 2,are no longer in europe, and i think are out of the league cup...nicely sat in mid table, and no doubt looking fwd to their day out at the etihad...

You might not be able to see anything less than a 5 goal victory, but i dont recall many of these so far this season....some might say City are not yet the team of last season....i hope your prediction is correct, but i also hope your not one of those fans who claims the premiership is the toughest league in the world....

I can imagine Eddie 'pulling a sulk' whenever he has to pass the ball outside of the area.
'This is my area and my ball' syndrome..............love the guy.
I understand he is playing for Brazil this week.

This has now become a must win game. Especially as we have dropped 2pts from the Liverpool game, with Mahrez missing his pen. The bigger the margin of goals we score against Burnley the better. So I am looking for at least a 4 nil winning margin. Has anyone any idea who will have as ref. for this game.

Would be surprised to see mendy and sane starting together, pep doesn’t seem to fancy it, but I hope we do.
