Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

How do you know are all three are better right wingers than Sterling? Be honest, how many times have you seen any of them play on the right??

Well I saw Mbappe come on and rip Iceland apart on the right last night,Hazard can play anywhere,as for Neymar,on his day effective from anywhere also, all a big improvement

Mahrez or Sane on the right is good enough as well at times

How do you know that? Have you any other inside info on Madrid's transfer targets? Level of desire or budget to sign players?

So a player of Sterling qualtiy madird wouldn’t want for next to nowt?

I feel he will sign a new contract with us though.

Think you've got a bit mixed up, there was a certain poster who suggested just a few weeks ago that it was "laughable" that Madrid would want Sterling.
A silly point poorly made.

So two guesses and a sub appearance in a friendly vs Iceland.

Sterling is a constant performer, highly rated by the best manager in the game and a good shout for the best actual right winger in the World.

I'm sure United thought Rashford, Martial or Sanchez could adjust to playing on the right, that's not ended too well has it?
Sterling is 23 and a proven World Class talent in a position lacking amongst the elite.
Bayern, Liverpool, Madrid, Barcelona all playing inverted wingers or inside forwards.

Sterling offers the productivity of a top class inside forward and the shape and width of a true wide man. He's a very rare mix.

Two guesses ? Fuck me mate, can I ask will you be following Sterling wherever he goes if he does not sign ?

In fact I'm really intrigued now,do you think Sterling is better than the 3 mentioned,as this will make my decision easier as to carrying on the debate with you really.

There are a few on here who seem to support Sterling more than the club, which is fucking ridiculous, however the feelings are for him, ridiculous

Oh, I'm a Sterling fan and you're a super fan? Good to know.
I asked you a direct question, you came back with a guess basically.
Only on here I suppose.

Sterling is indeed a much better right winger than three players who don't actually play there.

Hahaha,I'm no super fan,but I've seen plenty leave over the years, and only been upset a few times.

And what the fuck you mean by guess ? I presume you watch football from time to time ?

I’m not sure. I think running his contract down to a level where we have to sell for much less is possible. He strikes me as the type of player who has total self belief, knows the value of the market and himself and will do what it takes to achieve the best result for him. Nothing wrong with that. That is his choice. If we want him then we cant rely on look where you are playing your football, look who your coach is. It will totally be about the deal for him and we either pay him or we don’t. It will come down to that I think.
Me personally, city should pay him what he wants he’s only going to get better and better through his career.

Sterling gives us performances that those three give their respective teams, I would prefer him to Neymar who is just a horrible type of player that I wouldn't want to see in a City top, a more skillful Nasri attitude wise, 200m+ to play well when he fancies it.

Hazzard is pretty much the same, a quality player when he fancies it, he didn't fancy it much in Moaning Mo's final season at Chelsea, now he is coming out with RM chat, that would go down well with our fans if he was a City player.

Of the three you mentioned Mpbappe is a player I would love to see in our shirt but he is not a right winger despite ripping the might of Iceland to bits.

Now as for the "some people support Sterling more than the club" comment, well you kind of answered that pile of shit with the next line of "that is fucking ridiculous" and is the shittest form of arguing.

Not one person on here that is defending or supporting Sterling over the dumb fucks who think he is still not worthy to be in our team support him more than City, your comment is inflammatory and a ludicrous assertion.

Is that right

Problem is it don't matter 2 fucks what you think,or me for that matter, but my assertion is that there would be enough fucking tears to over fill the Irwell when you look back in this thread if he left, which as I say is ridiculous, and many would agree

The might of Iceland who were 2-0 up by the way, before he was introduced, just for info purposes of course, and Hazard would be a dream player to have in our ranks, whether he is bigging up a Madrid move or not,but yea I'll give you that one to your response,we wouldn't be happy if he chatted like that if he played for us,but if he played for us he wouldn't need to,as he'd be happy here I'm sure, playing in the best side in the league.

So still begs the question as to why he hasn't signed yet doesn't it ?

No doubt you can respond with a pile of shit as well

My my, what a bad temper you have and with the debating skills of neolithic man.

He hasn't signed yet because he hasn't got the deal he wants, that can't be that hard to understand surely ?

I just never quite understand what the hating brigade get out of running one of our best players down, it must be an odd new phenomenon of modern day football.

Then again folks hated Joe Corrigan at one point and ran Ian Bowyer out of town towards two European cup medals, now the last one could be used as an analogy if you want but then again you will just think this is another pile of shite so it doesn't really matter does it :)

I never saw that many hated Joe Corrigan or wanted him out but maybe I was too young to understand, now if you’d have said Joe Hart then you would only have to look on here to see that,so many blinkered and happy when he was shown the door, all with short memories of course.

Bowyer was before my time

Back to Sterling,I have said I’m not arsed either way and stuck to that, but honestly the way he is made out is just not realistic ,opinions which even the lover brigade fail to acknowledge

Would love him to sign but if not, good luck, we've got replacements in and waiting oh and by the way, you'll never get the madness/genius that is Pep again. Think about it son.
