Helicopter crash involving Leicester City owners

A terrible day all round, but its going to get a lot worse today. They keep saying they don't know who was board the helicopter yet, but surely they have a log, my fears are Puel was a passenger, hope to god im wrong, but nobody has heard from him apparently.
Where did that come from ? I`m not dismissing it,just curious.

Whether anybody has heard off him or not is irrelevant. If he was onboard the club, players, staff etc... and also the police.. will 100% know whether or not he was. Just seems a bit worrying that nobody has come out and said he wasn’t. There was early speculation that West Ham officials could have been on board, but that was quickly denied by West Ham

I think for anyone to have that type of info would be extremely unlikely.

What I would say, is that had Claud not been on board then a simple statement would suffice to stop any rumours surfacing.

Had he got home, that’s a really easy thing to put out. He wasn’t on the chopper. He’s safe and sound.

Maybe it’s in appropriate to do it a such a senssitive time, who I am to judge, but I fear the worst here.

Hopefully the people in the helicopter survive.

Not much chances with helicopter but just to share my brother in law was a helicopter crew who has had a lot of hours of flight time. On a jungle assignment his helicopter crashed and rolled down a hill like a barrel. They got out before the fire got too much. They all miraculously survived, but he was so traumatised he had nightmares every nigiht for years reliving the crash. They never set foot on a helicopter again. So here's one story of people surviving crashes. Hopefully by miraculous schemes the people on the Leicester helicopter came out before the fire got too much.

The Puel stories about him being on the helicopter are very scary. Surely if he was OK he would have already issued a statement to that effect especially after hearing all the speculation about him being on board.

I'm surprised in this day an age they've managed to keep what happened with regards to people involved quiet. The scene looked horrific.

Thoughts will all involved.

LCFC fan in peace.

Some of your fans as well as from other clubs came to our forum to show their sympathy and say some very kind words. It means a lot and I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Rivalries and loyalties mean nothing when an incident like this happens. The football world is a crazy one when you think about it. We can go from being segregated and wanting the polar opposite to each other, then in an instance all be on the same page. I really hope all involved are ok, and our thoughts are with those in and around the club. The silence from the police, LCFC and the authorities isn’t pointing towards a good outcome though sadly.

There'd be precious few fans would say anything bad about such an incident. Despite what some of the media would have you believe, football fans generally are a pretty decent bunch. There are idiots out there of course (as with the general population), but there's not a lot you can do about that. I'm sure your club will get through this terrible event and emerge stronger.

Incidents like this remind how crushing and tragic both the Torino team and Munich aircrashes would have been when news broke, the impact is cushioned for us because (except for much older fans) we only read about the facts post facto.

A terrible tragedy. News on casualties is still sketchy but BBC News is reporting that 'a source close to the family' told them that the owner was on board. Thoughts with the people on board and their families and everyone connected with Leicester City FC.
