You could say that about any number of players, and whilst it may be true in respect of the number and type of goals he's been scoring, the reality is that he is our most improved player and a menace to the opposition virtually every time he plays. His first touch has improved immeasurably, he gives the ball away far less under pressure, with soft arsed passes and dribbles to nowhere, than he used to, and this season even his finishing has been far more clinical - he's clearly been working on his erstwhile tendency to slap at the ball rather than put his laces through it, and he fully merits a pay increase. I'll hold my own hands up and acknowledge that he's improved technically, and in terms of his judgement, to a degree I never envisaged he had in him. The issue now is how much wonga he's prepared to settle for, and if both player and agent make unrealistic demands, I think he'll be out of here sooner rather than later. Certainly can't see the club getting bitten like it did when Milner dicked us around. Would be a shame if he puts greed over the opportunity to be part of something truly great at City
