Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

It seems inconceivable that of all the refs in the PL not one, as far I know, followed/supported a current premier league team when younger. Odd that don't you think? And there is no way that they don't ref games differently dependent on who is playing. It could be very subtle things like one week playing an advantage and then the next not. That said we don't even get consistency in the same half of a game let alone from week to week. There is too much money in football for it not to be bent and if a ref on £100k a year if offered the same amount to award a penalty or show a red card etc then it will happen. Too many decisions each week leave people shaking their heads as to what has the ref seen. Why can't they take learning from both rugby league and union in the way refs are spoken to, deal with VAR, timekeeping etc? You rarely hear of refs in rugby being slated every single week, or hockey refs etc. I wonder why?
They won’t be mic’d up until swearing is banned. They just won’t.
What should definitely be brought in is interviewing refs after a game. Immediately after it so they can explain their decisions.

I've said this to people before. Given the last 30 years dominance by a few clubs, no ref follows any of them!

Rugby league referees are criticised by fans all the time, but mostly for being weak and indecisive!

The head of the FA said he had some ideas to close the gap at the top this year didn't he. He's tried giving handball equilisers against us, he tried giving our rivals a load of offside goals and dubious penalty's & it still hasn't worked. I assume this is the next step.

I just wonder if there's a three match ban looming for one of our key players, which, when the RDAHMeedya have it rolling round for 24hrs, the FArce deem it worthy of five matches. I shouldn't be attending matches with this thought in my head, but I have attended enough matches in the PL where it looms as a distinct possibility.

Closest i’ve Ever come to packing the game in was v Chelsea with this bent cnut in charge then the Wigan game I didn’t go for a while , were like drug addicts & it’s hard to give up but when it’s so blatantly corrupt you have to say ‘enough’ at some point & if this bastard does what he’s been appointed to do I may have reached that point.

The man incited the crowd trouble at Wigan.

Were gonna be fucked both on and off the pitch Sunday. Blues scream, chant and voice your frustration but if one angry supporter chucks something on the pitch the PL get the ammo they need to punish us to fuck.

Personally I'd boycott it. As someone else has said I'm writing this match off.

Gotcha!

You're anti agenda because you are part of the agenda as you know the final score already...

:)

If it's that score pige I'll send you a fiver.

He did a talk a few years back at the junior`s school. On a Q and A session he was asked if he had reffed a Mcr derby. His answer was that he wasn`t allowed to by the people above him because of the security aspect ie if he met a disgruntled fan locally post match.
