Anthony Taylor (of Altrincham)

Why do you insist on dismissing the fact I have a neighbour who suooorts united and thinks Taylor is biased against them? Infact why do you get so defensive when someone suggests Taylor isn’t solely biased against us? Like as if you’re obsessed he should only be biased against us?
Infact, why are you so obsessed with me?

You are obviously fun to play with.
Is it possible your rag neighbour is also playing with you?.

I just think Taylor is a very poor referee full stop, and he shouldn’t be allowed to referee any team in the North West due where he lives.
The PL & PGMOL are either naive, stupid or just at it by doing that sort of thing.
Come on City, just bury the f*****s and take it out of the refs hands.

CTID

The refs have a great system, they have a "bad" game, take a week off then they are back all forgotten except for the team they stitched up,genius really

I think you conjure things up in your mind what I’ve said.
If someone shows me a photo of the Taylor family holding their rag season tickets, I’ll believe he’s a rag. Last night you were all about evidence. That, sir, would be evidence. Anything less is just hearsay, like that post above who says he heard Taylor registered with Cheshire FA so he could ref rag games. I see you’ve not pulled him though because it suits your agenda. (Not savvy enough to do italics).

I'm pretty sure that I've never had my photo taken holding up my season card. Does that mean I'm not a City fan? Put it this way, given the longstanding furore over Taylor more than any other referee, and the number of ad hoc posters on here who claim to know the family and state that they are rags, do you think that on balance he comes from a family of reds or he is a bona fide Altrincham fan?

I’m going to stop responding to you. Simple.
The simple fact in this matter is anybody who is born in Manchester should never ref a game involving a Manchester club, nevermind a derby, he's always gonig to be open to accusations of bias and to be honest after his refereeing performance in the rentboys game at our place the c .unt should be reffing on Hough End, i've never accused s British ref of being bent before just shite or incompetent but that day it looked nailed on fixed with some of his decisions.

He shouldn’t be reffing it. I’ve bever said otherwise.

And if you're convinced that we're all paranoid and that if a referee says he supports a particular team then we should all take it as gospel, perhaps you could account for the coincidence in an earlier post I made on this thread, which is set out below

"I know you’re not an agenda enthusiast Frank, but this issue goes beyond Anthony Taylor. The non-declaration of true allegiances at PGMOL is endemic. Probably 50% of the country supports one of the rags, the dippers, the Arse or Chelsea, yet a look at the 2016 list of registered PL officials (cos that’s the most recent one I could find), reveals, hey presto, that not one of the 20 odd referees ‘supports’ one of those 4 teams, and indeed only 3 of them claim to support a PL team at all. The list is awash with your Wigan’s, Chester’s, Swindon’s, Luton’s, Preston’s and Tranmere’s though. A remarkable coincidence, or bent as a nine bob note? I know which my money’s on....."

Whatever his allegiances, no one from Greater Manchester in any shape or form should ref in any game involving a local team, never mind a derby.

The fact Taylor is allowed to ref a derby just shows what a bunch of fuckwits run football.

To be honest, it doesn’t particularly bother me if a ref supports a specific team or not as who it benefits can go either way depending on the individual. I think a lot would, even subsconsciously, not give their own team the majority of decisions for fear of being accused of it.

Perceived bias to me is something that just exists in the minds of fans. I’d be more worried about general competence.

Without Alty Taylor reffing I’d be confident of a 4 goal victory margin. With Alty Taylor reffing I’m confident of a 4 goal victory margin.

Yeh, like writing a player’s name down on a yellow card, and then accidentally brandishing a red one by mistake......

If I was Reffing, I would give the rags fuck all.
