I find that a good way to spot a clueless moron in the media is to see what they say when asked whether De Gea would get in the City team.

95% say yes.

Betrays an utter cluelessnessabout what city and pep are about. De Gea is a better pure goalkeeper than eddy. No doubt. But Pep would play Bravo, let alone ederson, ahead of any day of the week.
I was out last night with an Everton fan, a United fan, and another City fan. When selecting a Manchester eleven, the United fan reckons Lukaku, Pogba, Shaw and De Gea are all better than their City counterparts. Not only did we put him straight on this point, but we both told him that if Pep was their manager, their first casualty would be De Gea, as Joe Hart was ours.

You could just about make an argument for Shaw if you really tried. And I can understand why someone would pick De Gea even though I couldn't disagree more. But Pogba and Lukaku - wtaf???!!!

yes I saw the flare go off. I sit in block 106

Seeing it go off and seeing it thrown are two different things. Did you actually see a City fan throw it, or just one lit up in the rags section, cos I wouldn’t put it past those twats, who’ve got loads of pyrotechnic previous, to have lit it themselves with the intention of then blaming us

no I didn't see it thrown, but it certainly looked like it came from the section where the utd fans were

Had to laugh when I watched the latest Inside City. There's the point prior to Sergio thumping in the second where de Gea passes the ball upfield to LIngard, I think, stops to admire his footwork, sees Jessie Weasel make a complete hash of controlling it and then scampers back to his goal for, as it turned out, no purpose at all!!

BBC Report just now - Super League Breakaway Threatened by Rich Clubs - cue footage of Man City celebrating title.

Then the arch plotter Agnelli and his UEFA puppet announce to the obsequious BBC scouser Richard Conway that the whole greedy plan (and the kraut source) are simply a complete 'fiction'. No problem there then, a modest contrast to their screaming, howling, daily denunciations of City. Integrity free reporting at it finest for your licence fee.
