To be fair, Macc was the one club where he did quite well as a manager. Left too early at the first opportunity to go to MK Dons and went down hill from that day onwards.

Any time I've heard Campbell speak since he's retired, he's come across as saying he is superior and blaming race on his lack of opportunity.

He's never actually said what he would do as a manager, so maybe he has a master plan.

Hope he gets the job. If he succeeds, fair play to him, but more than likely, he won't be able to relate to "real world" footballers and fail.

If so, the chip can be removed from his shoulder and he can fall back on his no doubt countless business interests.
