Something with gundo and Danilo is preventing the breaking of the lines right in the area outside the 18, and if we don’t control that it’s hard to release sane and sterling in behind with Jesus trailing, which is where the easy goals come from. The front three are stuck with nothing to do except be pinned in weird spots.

when we break they get back well but we lose the advantage by slowing play down. When defenders are trying to get back their priority is to get their body between us and goal,no thought of position or marking. those few seconds we give them allow them to get organized.

Gundogan need to come off. He’s slowing our play.
Danilo is too narrow, Jesus having a nightmare.
Pep will have to do something or we risk throwing away a game we should be winning comfortably.

Or, we tell them to up their workrate and focus and leave them on to sort it out. Any of those 3 would walk into the Bournemouth lineup.

So Jesus is at fault for only getting 1 good ball today that was already difficult to score? Maybe blame the others for providing nothing for him to attack.
Its different when Aguero is there though. He gets involved, links up, takes defenders on, gives them something to worry about, forces things, etc but Jesus is far too easy to keep quiet and harmless.
