His first season under MP he regularly beat his man and got to the byline after that his confidence went and cut back/passed back far too often. Not surprised he ended up playing right back.
In one of his later seasons for us he created more goal scoring opportunities than anybody else in our team throughout the season. I remember sky sports doing a piece about chances and he had created more than even David Silva had, they just wasn't being taken. The amount of brilliant crosses he put in and nobody was in the box was unbelievable, he literally created chance after chance every game he played, people just didn't like him.

Scoring is a nice bonus, wingers aren't strikers though.

He's never been a goalscorer so the goals wasn't ever going to be flying in but the assists isn't to bad to be honest & it should have been a lot more from the chances he creates. I had a look on sky sports and he created another 27 big chances it says which shows most of what he provided wasn't put away.

True but he was better than Fernando, Mangala & Bony for example.Sure 20 years ago he would have been fine. But not in the context of the players that were in the team arround him. He had no end product.
