Premier League Games 15/16 Dec

Klopp is as good as pep imo. Beat Bayern in the league twice with dortmund and now he’s finally built a Liverpool side capable of challenging. I really can’t stabd the thought of losing the title to that lot I’m worried we’re going to focus on the CL and lose focus on the league.
Shoudnt you be celebrating with your mates on RAWK?

Course he is just look at his amazing record in finals-exactly the same as Peps

Abysmal by Man United. This was staggering to watch. Peter Drury mentioned that the 36 shots by Liverpool were the most ever in a match since football stats started to be compiled. This was a training session. Shades of the City United match at the Etihad a month ago.

They're 11 points adrift of top 4 already and Mourinho looks absolutely clueless. United look like dear in headlights. Woefully out of their depths.

U****d were execrable, but the 36 shots was boosted a lot by speculative efforts from distance.

That’s why it’s s fascinating title chase. I welcome it.

I still think we win it. Liverpool have ridden their luck in quite a few games this season. Eventually, results catch up with performances. Outstanding performance today but over the first 17 matches, City have generally performed better than Liverpool have.

Right now, they've grinded out important wins, and it likes as though the title race will be very close. Having said that, I feel that by the end of the season, City will come out on top.

True. But I just used it to highlight the chasm between two eternal rivals, at the moment. Liverpool absolutely and categorically pasted United today. I wonder what Mourinho will say post-match. There's surely no excuse he can come up with to attempt yo deflect from this embarrassment.

Why do Rag and Dipper players say in interviews "We are Liverpool" or "We are Yoonited" , their arrogance is staggering at times , never heard anybody from our club say "We are Manchester City" , Dippers havent won a title for 29 yeaers and the Rags 7 years , "We are Champions" you arrogant twats.

i thnk its disengenous to say they arent playing well or are poor. they are dominating most teams and playing most teams off the park...not at our standard last season but they certainly aint poor

They have scraped a couple of wins this season and we ballsed up to not beat them, they have hardly set the world on fire, what they have done is grind out wins or snatched wins from draws like everton other week.
Hence my comparrison to Leicester, it is if tgey can keep it up after christmas will test their mettle as title contenders not first week of Dec, spurs are only 6 off top after all and going strong, their is no clear champ atm and I worry more about us being complacent than the scousers being better.

My god, just how poor are the rags? Seen it before but it was stark today just how uncomfortable they are on the ball and how lacking in football intelligence they are. Awful team.

Klopp is a great manager. I remember being at the Etihad a few seasons ago and admiring Dortmund, but as good as Pep? No. Lose focus on the league? No. I am expecting it to be a lot closer than last season, but City are the best team in the league, not the second best. Klopp this season is under massive pressure to deliver at least one trophy. He's spent a fortune and has the best chance since he's been at Liverpool to win something. Pep doesn't have that because he has proved himself. The pressure will mount on Klopp, game by game. Let's see if he's up to it.

I must admit I thought that CL group with matches against likes of Everton and Utd would catch up with them at some point. I still can’t see how they can keep that intensity up. They’ll come unstuck in a game they’re expected to win as they have every season under Klopp.
