I'm struggling to remember
For as good as we can be i think we could even question that if we are being super high with the standard setting. In the second half we let them start to dictate play for 10 mins at around the 55min mark. We snuffed them out but i won't deny for those 10mins i was a bit worried lightning was going to strike twice regarding them sods. I would even say to myself "fucking hell guy that is splitting hairs a bit isn't it" and that would be right IF they deserved it. We simply slacked off which has to be a mark down on us being perfect. It slightly annoyed me actually knowing the players would be well aware what happened last season when we switched off.Rags

We were superb though outside that little window so i can see why some will hold that up as a brilliant performance.
Mad when you put it like that, i mean what the hell happened. It is like they all just got a knock on the head and forgot what they do for a living. Not individually as that would be cruel on Laporte but we just seem to have become strangers, very frustrating. It’s the last game I remember where we looked really solid at the back. We just weren’t conceding chances, never mind goals. West Ham followed that and the warning signs were there in a good win. We have got progressively worse.
Essentially what my 'Leadership' thread alluded to.Rags probably. Too many players looking either leggy or just not pulling their weight. Walker and Delph, watchwords for a lack of concentration, Sterling, done fuck all since signing his new contract, Gundogan, the definition of a plodder, Sergio, too much time pissing around with dolly birds at music concerts in far away lands, Mahrez, a complete lightweight. There’s a lot of rockets needed up a lot of arses at the moment
Bit harsh on Sterling that. He's had about 3 average games now, but just after signing his contract, he was on fire.Rags probably. And coincidentally, this is what Liverpool have improved the most. Even if Liverpool scored first last season, you always felt like you could get back in the game when they got tire. But towards the end of last season, they started to look more solid when defending a lead, which is exactly what we've struggled with in the last two games.Looking at things from a slightly different angle, our defending started to be a real concern at Watford away after they pulled back a late goal - we just went to pieces for the last few minutes and nearly conceded an equaliser. We've looked flaky at the back under any pressure in every game since.
