Not feeling confident today as we just don’t have the wounded animal fight back mentality this season imo. We haven’t played great for weeks now and De Bruyne still missing, now gundogan and no genuine LB means it’s all mish mash again. Hopefully the lads shove this post up my arse later! Lol

Agreed. I am afraid the mantra of bedding him slowly is becoming a little old. Blimey any slower with all these injuries and he’s never going to play. I think it’s now time for Pep to trust in the lad. At least we know the lad will be fully committed unlike some of the performances we have seen the last few weeks. Might just be the spark we need today!

Never all season have I felt so completely unaware of what team Pep will put out. With injuries we have, should be easy to predict but with players out of form as well and Pep doing the unpredictable, I haven’t a clue who and what position they will play or the formation!

Hasenhüttl said pre match he still has to decide if he wants to take out our wingers like Palace/Leicester
or - what he normally prefers - defend a bit higher, a system that he still has to implement at Soton.

He also wants some good part of possesion.
I hope he is too cocky and gives us some space for easy goals.

Loads of pressure on our Blue lads. Hope they stay calm and confident.

Apart from Barcelona, no one performs or dominates us like them. A better analogy would be that they will get the bus out and have Redmond score the goal of his career after we they equalise with their 1st shot on target from defensive error.

By all accounts Leicester were appalling yesterday but dealt with us easily.

The results of both Leicester and Palace against Cardiff certainly put our performances in those games into perspective!
