To be within 4 points of Liverpool after 21 games with KDB hardly kicking a ball in the league is quite an achievement - especially when you consider the run of luck and ‘fortuitous’ decisions they’ve had. We can do this and if we chase them down and win the league it’ll be so sweet.

One thing we know after the last week or so (if we didn't already), we are one injury to this man away from not being competitive at the top level. If we can't sort something out in the January window then we are treading a very fine line indeed. Might not be possible to get the player we need mid-season but given how tight this title race looks and how open the CL looks, I'd like to see us do everything we can to get the player we need. That player is Ndombele by the way.
