Off the pitch, I (somehow) only recently found out the transfer was £34m, not £30m, but he paid £4m of the £34m to Shakthar to make sure the deal went through. Love the man and I'm glad pundits have recently woken up and realised how pivotal he is.
I have no more words to describe this man.
tbf Paulinho was doing very well in Brazil and he proved at Barca how good he is, just didnt work out at Spurs. That great South American football Sage Tim Vickery would probably still insist that Pauliniho is the better player. Like Dave we have known for years just how good he is but the wank arse pundits have only just now cottoned on. Irreplaceable player.
Goes missing, I think you have something missing. At his best, better than any centre-mids I’ve seen at the club including Yaya. At his worst, he goes missing and doesn’t really ask for the ball - and why he’s often criticised for the Brazil team. He normally has the latter period towards the end of the season and I think it’s often mental exhaustion at having played so many games. Hopefully, not playing for Brazil means we see the very best of him all season long now because we’re gonna need him.

No I just don’t have the memory of a goldfish. He’s had some really poor patches for City, unbefitting for a player so amazingly gifted both physically and technically. He’s also had some absolute shockers for Brazil - in the 7-1 against Germany for example. That said, when he’s at his best, he’s better than anyone.
