82 was a bit before my pub going time pal :) It might of been Paul, if he was a big lad with a tache then very possibly. I only played for the Ye Golden because my mates dad had it. I was a Moston kid and did most of my drinking in the Ben and the Museum.

I always thought he was an ex goalie for some reason. I was only 16 when I played for them, a very good keeper for my age, but a bit wet behind the ears so to speak.. he'd stand behind the goals and guide me through the game. Found it rather off putting tbh ha ha! I think he might of had a chippy in Midd but that might be somebody else.
