Nice restaurants in Manchester?

I'm visiting Manchester soon and was wondering if you guys could give me a few recommendations on great restaurants? :)
I'm looking for a good burger, pizza, pasta, and of course fish n'chips, but I guess you'll find that just about everywhere!

If I have a pizza in town I head for Zizzi in Exchange Sq, not cheap but very nice alternatively for pub grub try the Crown & Anchor about 50 yards further down than Zizzi's.

Rice Bowl for a Chinese but for a decent Indian/Chippy you'll need to go into the sticks.

Please please go to Dough in the Northern Quarter and have the white chocolate risotto with truffle oil .....honestly the best single thing I have ever tasted ...and I am 53

Out of the city into the districts such as Ashton/Oldham/Rusholme although I'm sure someone will recommend an Indian etc but I've always been disappointed in the centre.

TBF I've not eaten in Rusholme since we were at Maine Rd but the Amaani in Ashton is very good if a little slow.
