Good on the old chap for carrying on... who cares if a couple of dozen servants were mown down, they would only have carked it in the grouse shoot anyway...

Why do we constantly finance these self important tossers. Get rid of the lot of them

Why is he still driving at his age?

Imagine for a second the driver or passengers of the other car are seriously injured or killed?

His bodyguards and representatives need to have a look at themselves imo as he should never have been behind the wheel.
Firstly we have no idea if it was his fault or not, and fair do's that the guy wants to keep his independence, but there really is no need for him to be out on the roads without a driver. If he wants to drive occasionally there must be enough private roads he can drive on, and he can certainly afford a driver out in the real world.

Just reading that he drove Obama and his wife at 94, how did the CIA allow that ? (unless it was on said private roads).

I know from past experience of him (through work - he was still flying passenger aircraft at 70), that he is a very very stubborn man, but surely he needs to be told now that he has to have a driver.

Eyewitness report was that his Range Rover was T- Boned while it was joining the carriageway from a private drive/road. That being the case then it would seem that it was indeed his fault.

Silly old **** too old to drive, crashes with no injury

Probably happens everyday.

Let's be honest it isn't headline news worthy unless he was injured or died, devoting 15 mins of a 30 min news program is pathetic imho from any news provider.

And make way for President Blair? I've seen enough of European presidents, certainly the likes of Sarkozy, Hollande and Macaroon, to come to a firm conclusion that no matter how dire a monarchy can be at times, it is preferable every time to the likes of dead-beat, wannabe ex-politicos! How about President Cable, or President McDonnell. Oh, and let's not forget President Boris!
