When asked if Mangala would play v Burton tonight and Pep just said “no” I got the impression that Pep wasn’t happy with something going on there.
He usually adds something but the one word answer suggests he isn’t prepared to invest anymore time in him and it’s even a waste putting him in the window.

I like Mangala - hope he gets a decent move. Would of been a great player for us in any team pre Pellers / Pep era.

Still not seen a better centre half performance than his debut.
Everyone in the stadium were stunned watching him bully Costa whilst simultaneously outpacing Willian & Hazad whilst clearing every set piece.

It was a bumpy ride I agree but we won the league with Joleon Lescott at CB, a ball playing center back he was not. Allan Kernaghan could pick a pass but that doesn't mean he wasn't sh!te.
Mangala was the wrong man for the wrong time.
