Whilst a lower league team at home is the preferable draw I don't get the desire to field a weakened team. This seems to be a bluemoon mantra that we have to rest players, play kids, or reserves, under 7s maybe. In fact anyone except the best we can field

We should always start with a majority of the 1st team, then sub if and when game is 'in the bag'

That's fair. I probably overstated my preference for a weakened team. I do think if it's a Doncaster at home for example it's time to rotate in a few of Foden, Gundogan, Delph, Otamendi, etc.

I wouldn't put out a fully changed 11 or a side of academy players, if that makes sense.

Interesting that there’s only 5 Prem teams definitely in the next round with a possibility of 2 more. Bit of a sad indictment of how seriously many of the teams take it. You’d think it was most teams best chance of silverware and they’d be going for it.

As it stands now before any replays I will take Wimbledon at home in the next round, followed by Doncaster at home.

Hope the Scum get Chelsea at the Bridge, and Wolves v Watford, Palace v Brighton for other ties.

If that happens then there will only be 4 PL teams left at the Quarter Final stage.

I went to college round there, for three years. Never once fancied going to one of their home games, even just to see. A pit of a ground, and Neanderderthal supporters.
