Newcastle (a) post match thread

That blind turn in the box towards goal by Fernandinho just showed what mindset they were in tonight, complacent and half arsed...pathetic

De Bruyne having to go off due to the ref making an error and booking him (2-0up and game over btw) and we fell apart.[/QUOTE]

Well that was less than ideal.
Miracles do happen..

At least we can focus on winning the cup treble, if the league really is lost.

Has something happened before the game or during half time to upset the rhythm of the players? Maybe an argument? Everything was off tonight and the enthusiasm of the players was dampened so much. Has Pep lost the dressing room?. Big names being kept happy?
Well it didn't happen at HT as we were shit from about 1 minute onwards.

Very good start, Silva taking a knee in the face assisting Agüero at 25 seconds. Still think another ref, or another team, could've easily been 2-0 from the quick free kick. Just another time we've received the worst possible decision. But we didn't create enough and defending not right at crucial moments. Don't know where these kind of performances come from. But definitely not given up hope.

3 times in the space of a few weeks this team have surrendered a lead and capitulated, worst still never looked like getting back in the game.
Shouldn't we been expecting more from this team?
Shambles.

Fucking shit, that

Don’t deserve the title defending like we did against Palace or passing it like we did against Leicester and Newcastle.

Time to stop fooling ourselves neither Pep or the players care if we retain the title or not . That was a terrible performance, no leadership on or off the field. Need to be ruthless when you get a chance like tonight instead of pissing around like fancy dans and going fucking nowhere. Ederson should have stopped both goals. The first he was.badly oit of position, the penalty was so saveable. Much work to do.

What a stupid post.

Play the youngsters before we lose any more of them, nothing to lose now the trust should be gone after that shite, grow a pair and throw them in!

Have now heard 4 refs agreeing that decision to book Kevin was correct. I thought it was harsh myself.

Bad performance and I hope the players get a boot up their arses. It ain’t over till it’s over. There will be plenty of twists to come yet.

That really was terrible.

Did they bottle it?

What was Dinho doing turning blind in his own box - one of a host of stupid errors.

Silva and KDB both awful when they needed to step up.

Meek surrender.

What was fucking Danilo doing, passing it back into a crowded area. He had the eyes to it.
Been saying how well he had playing, well he was bloody awful tonight.
Along with many others, I may add.
