My thoughts exactly. Completely off the boil tonight, nervous, jittery, it was Newcastle for fuck sake not Barcelona yet they made the Geordie look like Brazil.
Horrible horrible display, the fact half of them left the pitch right at the final whistle embarrassed summed us up.
Not over by a long shot but fuck me we're handing to the Scouse ****s right now, makes the win against them nothing now.

Pep’s subs tonight were a joke. Why take Sane and KDB off when sterling was having a mare and so was silva? Mahrez is a 60mil fwd and doesn’t get used when we are chasing a game? Says a lot to me that. Fucking disaster tonight now reliant on other teams doing us a favour. Last season will mean fuck all if those twats now beat our points and goal records which they could. Clueless, abject, sloppy and lack of any leaders on the field.

We got what we deserved and title is over. When you lose to Leicester, Palace and Newcastle you don't deserve to win the the League. Apart from Laporte and Stones I can't think of anyone who had a decent game.

Need to win the Carabou and FA Cup now to have something to show at the end of the season.

Yes it was poor tonight. However I don't think we should be too down. The last 18 months have undoubtedly been the best in our history. Most of the players have been playing solidly for all that time with very little break. They're not robots. They will have off days now and again. Newcastle made it hard for us and when the team aren't quite at it this sort of thing can happen. Having said that we still had enough chances to win the game.

I was saying beforehand it'd be 3-0 inside half an hour. Maybe this result is a reminder to all of us not to become like the Rags and take every result for granted. In Pep's words we should stay humble.

I'll be happy this season if we win a Cup or two even if we don't win the league!!!

Liverpool have played like we did tonight quite a few times this season. Difference is Pickford and Spironi have chucked one in for 'em, Salah has dived for pens and opposing strikers miss open nets from two yards. Would the ref have disallowed Sergio's 'goal' if it was Salah ?

We were crap but fuck me the ref was fucking terrible...how the fuck do you officiate like that unless you are bent.
We didn't look interested for large parts of the game and I think the disallowed goal cost us big time..if that was allowed we go on to win comfortably.
The decisions that go against us are bent for sure...every tackle we look like we might get booked yet other teams kick us with impunity.

I’m not having that. We lost because we were fucking dogshit, simple as that. That’s 4 defeats in our last 9 in the league, and they’ve all been the same. Sloppy, lazy passing in midfield, attacking at walking pace, and undone by simple 60 yard hoofs at the back, where titting around and inviting trouble has become the norm. That was the 4th utterly needless penalty we’ve conceded, with no threat of a goal whatsoever, in 3 months.
Pep needs to ask some serious questions of both his players and himself. Danilo, Aguero, Walker, Dave, Sterling, they were all pathetic tonight. In fact Laporte was the only one in a blue shirt who didn’t embarrass himself

Blame the ref mate if it makes you feel better but he wasn't the reason we lost. Same as Palace and Leicester.

I said we were awful and I'm not blaming him for the defeat just highlighting how bent the officials are...do you think we get treated the same as other teams week in week out?
99 out of 100 times that goal would have stood and they wouldn't have got back into the game even though we were awful.

Once again another poor display from most of the players in the PL,and not for the first time.Its OK "doing" teams in from the lower divisions,but apart from the Dippers game,we have struggled at times and I can`t understand why ? Mate I spent 40 years feeling sick after city matches. I’m disappointed but won’t ever feel like that again. We were embarrassing tonight but why should you feel the pain. Believe me Leroy, Sergio etc will only be thinking of a long journey home by now. We’ve had wonderful wonderful moments over the last few years and will have many more. It’s footfall. It happens. Yep. People wank over these 28 goals and none conceded but in the league we almost always concede nowadays. These cup games have glossed over the defensive problems. For shots on target faced we must have the worst goals conceded stats.
