Anyway,back to silva.He shouldnt be starting ahead of others at present as his form is way off,hoping its just a blip and not the beginning of the end.

If the little fella never plays another good game for us again he will still be one if not the best I’ve seen play for us. I agree tho, perhaps Bernardo to start before him at the moment and David can re find his past brilliance. I cannot contemplate the thought that he is coming to the end. :(

Hasn't played well since he spent the night in hospital with his son. Was that just before the Liverpool game?

Hopefully it's just a blip. However, time waits for no man. Iniesta was done at this level at a similar age, I believe.

Matteo had pneumonia the other week,maybe the whole emotional roller coaster he has been on with the baby over the last year and playing through it is catching up with him,they are not robots

Didn't know his kid was back in hospital. I hope he is alright. It probably explains why he is off colour. I believe we will see the real Merlin back again before the end
of the season. Not sure about next season, it may be a case of picking the games and the game time.

The night before the dippers game they were at the hospital with him.pep said last season he wouldn't be playing as much this season but i think kev being out put paid to that idea,next season he shouldn't play as much as bernie will be able to step in and foden as well
