Net Spend!!

Now the window has shut tight & all calculations are in we finish in 15th position with a net spend of 13m.

Chelsea finish 1st with 148m & Liverpool 2nd with 145m.

What is everyone's take on it??

I know we broke records & stormed away with it but with KDB going down in August, Mendy still struggling to be fit, Vinny nobody knows where & when his next game will be & a World Cup should we have pushed the boat out??

IMO We sherked on Jorginio & never backed up Mendy with a true LB.

Money must have been there yet we don't go back in for anyone + we end up loosing 3 of our best youngsters????

We have a class team but to go back to back with a title you always need fresh meet.

Mahrez was a luxury signing IMO but not what we needed right now.

FFP is hurting us.

The next 10 days will tell us if we have done right or wrong.

I've not seen much of Jorginho but he has been slated by loads of Chelsea fans in social media so I think we did alright missing out on him

So spending the most money is the answer? That's seems to be working well for Chelsea.

Posting this sort of stuff while we are 2nd in the league, in a cup final and well placed in another 2 is nonsense. Save it for the end of season debate.

Next ten days won’t tell me anything , next 18 months might. Last 18 months is all good though.
