Carabao Cup Final plans

Stopping over (travel lodge Wembley) Sunday night, any recommendations for places to go after celebrating the win in the Green man after the game? Cheers

It’s always raucous in the pubs on Wembley high street after the game. Had some great celebrations in JJ moons.

Had a change of plan, usually on a coach to Wealdstone but now coming in by train into Marylebone, any suggestions for a beer stop rather than the City pubs near Wembley?

Normally Baker St would be a good option but a couple of pubs there are/were places where Chelsea's nutters drink - The Globe was definitely one, just opposite Baker St tube station.

£55 return on train, £98 for two nights in b&b near bayswater. Going Saturday, back monday evening. Match & beers sunday & tourist bit while down there.

Correct

The Globe was the main England pub back in the day, hence the reason Chelsea still use it for Wembley appearances

By all accounts our two Mid Cheshire coaches will be dropping us off at The Green Man,after a stop off for a few pints elsewhere. For an able bodied person approx how many minutes is to walk from there to Wembley ?
With being on crutches just need a rough guide as to the time it may take me.

I'd say it's 15 minutes or so to get from pub to turnstiles but the green Man kick everyone out about an hour before the game anyway so you should have plenty of time. It is a pretty steep hill though!
