And similarly Pep probably knew the moment he saw him in the last 16 tie in February that he wanted him, and made sure the deal was done before the window.
 
Not easy to pick a man of the match here - Kun is probably the obvious choices because of the hattrick, but Sterling and Dinho were bloody amazing as well. Really impressed by Gundo and Bernardo as well. Gundogan is starting to show what a player he can be.

Special mention to Ed and Zin as well

I think he's been putting up goal and assist numbers like the best in the world for 1 1/2 seasons now, but the difference in the last 6 months is that he now really looks like it on the pitch too. He has the swagger of a world class player, he knows when he has a defender on toast and he will make it count time after time, he ran at that ball for the first goal like there was 0% chance it was going anywhere but in the net.

Last season he got the goals, but he still looked a bit insecure, a bit like he was wondering if the good form in front of goal would end. Now he knows this is his level.
 
Wow,and I have to hold my hand up with the inclusion of zinchenko on the pre match thread I got it all wrong and apologise,zinchenko along with ten other players were fantastic,what can be said about aguero I’m shaking my head here as I write this just an unbelievable player,sterling every time he got the ball and ran they were absolutely shitting it,we just need to keep winning and hope the scousers slip up again,even a draw at the rags followed by a draw at Everton would do as long as we win ...

PEP Two days off will be good but we need to analyse the performance from today. The three games this week have been tough with this intensity and desire. The players were outstanding. I said thank you to them for what they’ve done.
 
The whole team world class, I'm so happy for Sterling, his movement wow, Sergio is Sergio words don't describe him City fuckin legend, so so happy, I'm on the vodkas all night, get in.
