When I was a kid, if Columbo was on, it was on. No fucking about, a film you liked on the other channel? Tough shit. I liked it too mind. Just as fucking well.

That wasn’t the era of a telly in every room, laptops, consols, central bastard heating. During the winter in my bedroom, I once found four SAS artic warfare soldiers dead as disco. Took a week for the poor cunts to thaw.
