I've a podcast I'll plug. It's called "We Sell Want" and I interview people from all sorts of genres to see how they made people get excited about whatever it is they do. I've interviewed movie directors, entreprenours, DJ's and even a proper occult guru. Always a good chat and a common thread is "this didn't work, then this happened when I didn't expect it".

Is it on Spotify etc? I'll check it out

If you like true crime:

  • Black Hands - about the 1994 murder of the Bain family in New Zealand...the only survivor being David, the eldest son who got sent down for it, then released
  • Serial - about the case of Adnan Syed and the murder of his girlfriend in 1999...he is inside for it and still claiming his innocence...i "think" at the final ever appeal stage...there are additional episodes in the Undisclosed podcast
  • Sapiens - a brief history of human kind - currently half way through this
  • That Peter Crouch Podcast - ok, football related, but its funny

How do you fellas listen to these, do you download them, or just 'stream' them? I had a listen to that Bob Mortimer Beardsley one, enjoyed it and plenty of laugh out loud content, I just googled it after seeing it mentioned here but I'm never sure where to grab it from, the only podcasts I know how to download are from BBC Sounds, do I need to have another podcast provider on my phone? It's android, so I guess that rules out itunes.

eg, I fancy those UK True Crime pods but when I google them I've no idea where to download them from, for free of course, surely we don't have to pay for them?

cheers in advance.

Have a word podcast, ye it’s got a couple of scousers in it and sometimes they are scouse but majority of the time it’s kids funny, basically stand up comedians just talking shite I’ve not laughed so much ages, anything goes.

The ‘Broken Record’ series is a bunch of interviews done by Rick Rubin with famous musicians. Quite in-depth and interesting stuff.

If this is the one with Dan Nightingale and Adam Rowe, Dan's from Preston. Used to give me free beer when he was on the bar at Frog and Bucket. He's a far better comedian than the usual suspects on tv panel shows

Rhlstp is always a great listen and if you've never listened before there's 100's to go through, you're bound to find plenty of guests you like.

Always sunny podcast is great. The idea is Charlie, glen and Rob rewatch and talk about each episode but it just descends into whatever they want and occasionally themed episoded. If you love the TV show, it's that in podcast form.

My podcast account says I've listened to 179 days of podcasts, stown is still be best thing I've heard.
I'm kind of new to having a podcast routine so perhaps I was lucky landing on this one so early.
It's been incredible so far.
I'm about to take the dog for walk and this will be straight back in my ears.

The Atlanta Monster series are supposed to be good too.
