Quick word to anyone driving to Birmingham Luton etc. Yesterday I had the delight that is the M6, just after Knutsford and virtually all the way to Birmingham there are 3 long stretches of road works with a 50mph average speed limit. It is always very busy weekdays, this will make it worse.

You poor bastard, that must be so depressing, Yesterday I did the 50mph bit, turned onto the M5 and found that was 30mph. Hell I don't even do 30 on normal roads. Oh and then the M5 was shut !!!

M50 was shut mate, otherwise you were doing 30mph on a closed road

Simple mate
We only spent the day in Newport, so had little to drink.
Four days holiday in Belgium/Germany followed by a day’s work Friday. Feet up Saturday then back on it Sunday, easy peasy
