Think the Schalke manager and his players should be utterly ashamed of themselves. They were clearly doing their utmost to influence the referee for the first 'penalty'. Are teams allowed to look at phones/tablets on the bench and then carry on like that?
I'm buzzing. Imagine if you were there!
That free-kick from Leroy was just beautiful. Schalke must be so gutted but I bet the rest of football is looking on and thinking wow Manchester City. That is the type of thing that the great sides do.
You put him within my reach and I'll do it.Can't somebody chin Peter Walton?
Peter Walton thinks the Otamendi incident was a penalty. What a surprise.
Dossier lands on Riley's desk, he gets packed off to the USA mid-season and Riley comes rushing up to The Etihad to do a PR puff-piece. Right.
Glad it was the right half.I said in the match thread that Sane needed to be brought on for Sterling, well at least I was half right. Ha ha.
As I said to @SWP's back in the match thread, the actual decisions aside, the implementation of VAR (and the way it is functioning in practice), is farcical. Why do you think ? They're fucking corrupt.
I've no problem with the second penalty, or the sending off, they're both just idiotic, especially when the referee was so obviously bent.
Of course it will, just wait for it’s introduction to the premier league. Why did VAR not give us the offside for the 1st penalty. Well we know why. Blatant cheating. VAR will protect the teams UEFA wants to protect ie See Madrid v Ajax.
I'm supporting it 100%. We will benefit from it in the long term, and teams like the Rags and Liverpool will lose. No issues whatsoever.Great result!
Deathnell for VAR tonight. How can anyone support it tonight based on both goals we conceded.
Come on lads, both penalties and the red were valid. Even more impressive how the team reacted and fought to the last minute to win. Hands down a 2-2 result abroad would've been a great result but they played for the win. Noone thought about the referee, they only believed on the win. And they won. That's how you can win titles. Great goal by Sané.

Peter Walton genuinely believes it’s a penalty, wait for it... “because Otamendi had his fist clenched.”
Wipe your top lip you sweaty cünt.
