New breed of away fan

Brilliant day yesterday. Lots of people pissed but most well behaved. The Chelsea fans we met were ok as well. The sun shined and we picked up another cup. What's not to like?

I was in the Green Man before the game and everyone was having a good time. I saw a few people who accidentally nudged into another Blue apologise immediately lol. Virtually everyone had had a good few beers (and some other substances no doubt) and I did t see a spot of bother. It was the same on the concourse at Wembley.

The funniest moment in the Green Man was when a load of Blues jumped up to celebrate a Utd goal only for it to be ruled offside.

I guess there will have been the odd unsavoury incident but I just didn’t see any.
There was a bit of beer throwing going on there & a couple of smoke bombs but luckily we were out of range.

Saw zero bother anywhere (pubs, ground, underground, trains etc)

A bit of silliness in the first tier over a flag dangling a bit low over an entrance back to the concourse - don't know whether security were being over zealous but the owner of the flag lost it somewhat and was shouting the odds - lucky not to be escoted outside to be honest,

Didn't see anything else apart from the usual piss swilling around the bogs like the 3rd class deck on the titanic as it was going down

Great day out. One small incident at Wembley Central station caused by a Chelsea fan finished by a blue. Over before it started.
Never seen so many well behaved fans from both sides and a lot of drinking on a sunny day.
Good advert for the game.

I wonder who some of the posters like because they appear to dislike all younger fans, middle aged piss cans, FOCs and members of Supporters Clubs lol.
I can tick all them boxes at some point in my life.

Mind you, who gives a fuck if anyone likes you or not...........

No one likes me ..... No one likes me...... .No one likes me...........I don't care

I'm a **** I'm a **** I'm a ****

From Maine Road

Yep generally speaking it was well behaved from what I saw, which was good due to the amount of kids that were there.

We don't need to pat ourselves on the back for not being a c*** though, that should be the norm.

Well done, Blues. That's what football should be like. A great day out, lovely weather for a few beers in the beer garden at the Green Man and everybody getting on with each other. Loved it.

There was a pretty nasty looking scrap in 546 involving a couple of Blues. Hard to tell what was going on as quite a few others piled in. It was on the aisle.

Also a bit of handbags on our row as a couple of pissed up blokes couldn’t find their seats and kept coming back up and down the row. A few lads further down didn’t take kindly to the repeated disruption.

Most of our matches at Wembley have been good considering the huge volumes of pissed up fans from both sides in attendance. Predictably the only really toxic atmospheres were against Liverpool and the Rags. Virtually every Chelsea fan I met yesterday (and it was a long day) said they hated the scousers and wanted us to win the league. I wonder what it will be like if we play Milwall in an FA Cup semi though!

Some aggro in 543 when a blue didn't take to kindly to being told not to stand in the stairwell because it was blocking everyone's view. As per, about 20 people decided to wade in, threatening all sorts, all a bit embarrasing really. To their credit, the two involved calmed down and had made up by penalties.

Was very close to this, though no idea what started it.

A bloke in his 40s was walking down towards the concourse begore turning back to run up the stairs to confront a guy in his 70s. Floored him with 3 punches then ran off. Guy was obviously shaken, cut above his nose. Didn't notice him come back

Good atmosphere around the ground yesterday. Met a few old school Chelsea in a pub in Watford, top blokes they were and they fucking despise the dippers more than anybody. He said in the 70s and 80s they'd throw bags of shit, sick and piss at them. VILE! Great day out. CTID

I think the guy who was hit came back, could be wrong but I thought I saw him thanking another fella who jumped in to help. I didn’t see the attacker come back, he was raging though.

Yes didn't see any trouble and even the well pissed/coked fans were polite when going to the toilets for the umpteenth time ( I was in an end aisle seat. )

Fake news. As we all know, it’s only the young pups who cause trouble at City games.

A lad on our coach back to Manchester kept hassling the driver to pull over so he could get one his beers that he had been made to put in the hold, when the driver refused he became really aggressive tried to grab hold of the driver then he threatened to take the coach off the road and result driver pulled onto the hard shoulder and rang the Police who duly turned up and removed the drunken idiot off the coach.

3 police cars went flying past us on the motorways and a mile up the road were parked up on the hard shoulder behind a red coach. Bet that was you?

Saw zero trouble all weekend - not even a hint of it. Felt the weather and the occasion put everyone in a top mood.

Well done every city and Chelsea fan that I came in contact with, you all did your clubs proud!
