The League Cup ours. The League is now in our hands although it is still going to be very difficult. I know what every fan is thinking but no one wants to talk about it because the odds on doing it are still minscule, however the odds of a domestic treble must be significant. League 65%. FA Cup 40% = 25%. At least. Do people think that if we talk about it and fail then our season will be treated as failure?

Whatever happens over the next few weeks the season is already a success, we have silverware on the table and we went far too long without any to look upon it as anything but brilliant !

They've all been brilliant, football wise. We are truly spoilt, with the standard we are served. You only have
to watch some of the other top teams and many times i have myself thinking, what the fuck is this.
Sure the results are not always what we wanted, but as someone once said, that eeez futbol.
 
I think that's whats driving the players on....the possibility of becoming part of history. That extra 10-20% out of every game. If we can just get back to scoring earlier in games we could save a little more energy for the next game. Whatever happens from now on the lads have been fantastic and the fans should be proud of them .

Danilo shouldn't have been dropped for Bournemouth imo so would like to see him come back In, Stones assuming he's fit with Kompany being saved for schalke when Otamendi will be suspended, would have had Mendy in but he doesn't appear to be fit. Midfield picks itself right now, mahrez doesn't deserve a start but after his goal it makes sense to try and use that confidence to push him on and get something out of him, we need more options as I suspect injuries are only going to mount in the coming weeks due to the sheer volume of games. Sane on the left, Sterling given a rest, played a lot recently and he doesn't tend to get subbed either. Aguero upfront, Jesus to be used as and when Sergio tires before getting a start against Swansea.

No messing about, need a big win here to really send a message to the scousers that were about to turn it up to the next level now. liverpool don't play until Sunday and would be 4 behind if we win this, home tie to Burnley you would expect them to win comfortably but if they don't start well their fans will get right on their backs and it could make for an uncomfortable afternoon.
