booking next years holidays with brexit coming

So in June im driving from Belfast to Dublin...boat to Holyhead...drive to Glastonbury....and then the return journey.

Will i need an international licence for that?

FYI, the tickets were cheaper this time...about £150 cheaper than it has cost in the past

Wondering how many refugees i can smuggle over in my campervan

Which bit are you questioning?

I guarantee that you can only get them by going in person now.

This is cut from the post office page on the IDP.

“How do I apply?
Find your nearest Post Office branch using our branch finder tool. Bring along your full valid UK photo-card driving licence, a passport sized photo and your valid passport as proof of identification if presenting an older paper version licence.”

They do cost £5.50 though.
I live in Macc.
Went to my post office and was told the only NW post offices doing them were in Manchester, Stockport and Stoke!
I've just phoned my nearest post office on that branch finder and they've just started doing them.

Wales could have left the UK by then just to complicate things?

Do you mean from the UK to Ireland? Might be more of a money spinner for you that way around by then.

I doubt it. Ireland is excluded from most of the changes and the Irish govt have said drivers will still be able to drive their due to our “ unique relationship”.

Bugger - I am out to Cyprus on 1st April and I have a car out there

So I will need to organise something before leaving by the sounds of this. Surely this could have been sorted out.

They haven’t even sorted out securing essential medical supplies so do you really think they give a toss about drivers?

I am actually looking at North Korea what a great place and I guess we could have so much in common by then? Lets hope Donald doesn't get in before we do and get a deal from them?

They certainly have 'taken control of their money, laws and borders'. And their citizens go have 'cheaper* clothes food and footwear'....

*when I say cheap, I mean scavenged

Last August this was dubbed "project fear" - I wonder in Henkeman is as confident now as he was then?
