Might not help us, they screwed up big time..

UEFA closed the FFP compliance investigation into PSG on 13th June 2018, finding no fault. On 22nd June, they decided to re-open the case, but only formally did so on 3rd October, which violates UEFA's own rules that required them to re-open 10 days after announcing they would.

In other words, UEFA failed to follow their own articles of procedure correctly, with Article 16 (1) being the key clause of the UEFA Adjudicatory Chamber convention that they did not abide by. Massive legal own goal from UEFA.

The outcome is that PSG are not in danger of receiving any FFP related punishment until the latest round of checks, which will occur for all clubs at this season's end.
So UEFA were late re-opening the case after announcing it?

But I thought the case they have decided to open on us, is in relation to the case they already found us guilty of?

That these leaks had highlighted that we cheated more than we told them, and that although we had accepted the penalty, we withheld information that may have made the penalty worse?

Am I wrong that they're not re-opening the original investigation?

Just think, we are likely to get the same ban as Chelsea for 9 offences as per Chelsea for 26 offences.
Kangaroo Court.
Yes. This is the FIFA case.
City expecting the ban, as I suppose they must have followed the same procedure as Chelsea, via the English FA, who have also been found guilty of not following procedure correctly.

The FA got fined £450,000 for their role in the Chelsea case, which they are appealing.

Will they get similar punishment for their role in City's case?

So you're saying that both City and Chelsea followed the FA advice but that advice was incorrect and we now face a ban?

Yes.
That's the way it seems.
Chelsea and City send their paperwork through the FA, who approve it and forward it to FIFA.
Can't understand why it took FIFA so long to spot any errors, and let it get to 100 players for Chelsea

But then surely there must be a lot more clubs involved not just City and Chelsea?

Also there must be some defence that we followed our FA advice and acted in good faith.

No- this is the FFP thread. It refers solely to financial matters.

You are referring to the accusation of whether we have broken strict rules designed to prevent the exploitation of minors- a quite different investigation

Yes.
I am discussing the case that will involve the 2 window transfer ban, not the FFP case.

Apologies if it is in the wrong thread. My bad.

I think the question is now, after all these rulings coming out of various courts and tribunals, are City in a better position or a worse position now. Probably a question for Preswich Blue. Time for a quick update please PB.
